Important announcement

Redfern’s Cottage Museum of Uttoxeter Life is about to embark on an exciting journey to enhance our museum. With support from East Staffordshire Borough Council’s Ward Enhancement Programme, we will be improving our museum spaces to enhance our telling of Uttoxeter’s Story.

The café, gift and book shop will remain open and fully accessible during the improvements, but our museum spaces will be closed from Saturday 1st March whilst we carry out our improvements. We expect to reveal our new look museum along with our new temporary exhibition, ‘The History of Uttoxeter in 25 Objects’ in time for Easter.
